The Cell and Molecular Biology minor and major emphasis are focused on the study of the molecular basis of life. The program is designed for students interested in biology to develop deeper theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the rapidly developing field of cell and molecular biology. It is suited for undergraduates who are interested in pursuing graduate studies with a molecular biological focus, for pre-health students, and for students interested in employment in the biotechnology industry.
